Teaching art across the country for the U.S. Air Force

From 2024 to 2026, Breanna and her colleague, Anja Yamaji, traveled to U.S. Air Force bases nationwide as part of the Air Force Services Center’s Arts in the Force programming.
The two brought their hands-on creative workshops directly to service members and their families on 40 different bases, from Alaska, to California, to Florida. They taught over 50+ classes total, including special fx/Halloween makeup, paint-and-sip, resin art, mandala art, headdress making, and acrylic flow.

This programming is geared towards helping service members “build resiliency and morale by tapping into their creative sides.” Read more about the program and the classes offered in this post from the Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center.
